Panel Discussion

The Future of Investing: Impact Capital
Investors are beginning to more systematically analyze critical Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors in their investment processes. Is this a driver of alpha?  Can Sustainable investing heal capitalism?  Can investors achieve both market rate returns and social impact simultaneously?

Panel Discussion

Future Drivers of Global Capital Markets (This session is off the record)
Balanced against the continuing strength of the global economy are issues that can impact both issuers and investor in the capital markets. Interest rate hikes by the US Federal Reserve and inflation pressures are issues to be watched, as are geopolitical issues, not the least of which is a potential trade-war with China. The changing tax and regulatory environment are also considered market drivers.

In this session, you will hear from experts as they discuss the outlook for the global capital markets as we look to the future.

Panel Discussion

Future of Data Privacy
News of the purported mishandling of Facebook customer data by Cambridge Analytica has created a firestorm in the U.S. with consumers and Congress questioning how this could have happened. For some, however, it’s not quite a surprise. The U.S. has very different requirements from other parts of the world in terms of how customer data can be handled and used – at least until now.

With the pending launch of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) in Europe on May 25th, many eyes are being opened as to just what happens with a person’s data when it’s given to a company. In this session, you’ll hear from three executives about how their organizations handle customer data, as well as learn tips to ensure you keep your data safe.
