FWA-NJ: Boost Your Cultural Intelligence to Accelerate Your Career in 2018

Are you experiencing miscommunication and inefficiency within your culturally diverse team? Are you struggling to do business with international colleagues or clients who seem to find it difficult to trust and do business with you because you are a woman? Are you stepping on toes due to misuse and lack of understanding of cultural differences?

You are not alone. According to the projections from the Center for American Progress, by 2050 almost one in five (19 %) of American workers will be foreign born and /or will be of mixed-race origin. Every year, more and more US-based companies are doing business abroad.

In this brief seminar, Dr. Nataliya Adelson will share some proven strategies and tips to help you enhance your cultural intelligence to benefit your day-to-day work and career. Here are the 5 powerful things you will learn:

  • HOW cultural norms, expectations, and communication preferences affect relationships and team dynamics with colleagues and potential clients.
  • WHY your cultural intelligence is directly related to your ability to influence and negotiate, as part of your business dealings.
  • WHY your cultural intelligence is even MORE critical to your career success than you realize.
  • The cultural intelligence KNOW- HOW to begin getting better results, improve relationships and get business results.
  • What can you do TODAY to begin building and leveraging your cultural intelligence to become a more effective leader, STAR performer, and to accelerate your career in 2018 and beyond.
