FWA-NJ: Strategies for Getting Your Voice Heard

Maybe you are a classic introvert, or you lack the confidence to speak up with your contributions to the discussion, or you find it particularly difficult to find ways to influence your peers or your team when it comes to making important decisions, or maybe its that female voice in a room full of males who simply talk over you and the good ideas that you bring forth. These and many other factors are perhaps contributing to your feeling that your voice is not always heard. Are there specific strategies that you can employ that could further your influence, increase your confidence, make your contribution count? We hear a lot about diversity and inclusion and creating a fair playing field where all can be included and voices heard. This discussion will give you insights and strategies to help you make the playing field a little more level for you, build up your confidence level, and provide proven ways to achieve a greater level of success in whatever you want to accomplish.

Take this opportunity to learn and adopt key strategies for your voice to be heard  and taken note of at meetings, roundtables, in conversations, in presentations. Positive change can happen!
